
Harvey began his career as a comic. The stand-up comic performed in the late 1980s. Later, he was the host of Showtime at the Apollo and The Steve Harvey Show on The WB. Later, he was featured on The Original Kings of Comedy after appearing in the Kings of Comedy Tour. The last stand-up comedy show he performed was on in 2012. Harvey is host of Family Feud as well Celebrity Family Feud. The host has held this position since 2010. Harvey also hosted Little Big Shots and Little Big Shots Forever Young. Harvey is also the host for Harvey's Funderdome. He is an author and has written four books, including his bestseller Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, which came out in March 2009. Harvey founded Steve Harvey Global, an entertainment company which houses his production company East 112 as well as a variety of other ventures. Harvey was also the founder of Family Feud Africa and was an investor in Anthem Sports and Entertainment's taking over of HDNet. Marjorie Harvey and Steve Harvey were the founding members of The Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation. It is a non-profit charity that has a focus on youth education. He's won seven daytime Emmy Awards Two Marconi Award winners, and fourteen NAACP Image Award Winners in various categories.
