Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. She began her career with supporting roles in the teenage comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). In the following years, she was cast in the role of reporter Willa McPherson in FX's show Dirt. She also played an appearance in the short-lived FX series The Ex List. In the initial season, she was the lead of Moira O'Hara, an untried Moira and in the second season she played Kaylee. She played Jessie Anderson's character on the AMC series The Walking Dead. Sophie was her role in the NBC series This Is Us. She is a voice actor in the show Family Guy, an animated comedy. She is currently the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe the character of Netflix's show Virgin River. Breckenridge was a resident of Darien, Connecticut, until when she was 10 when she and her mom moved to California. They moved around for a year before they settled in Mill Valley. Breckenridge started to be interested in acting, photography and singing when she was 13. Breckenridge re-located to Los Angeles with the help of her mother when she was 15.
